Introduction
Welcome to EurOmnis
EurOmnis is the yearly European Conference organised for and by the Omnis Developer Community. EurOmnis is meant to give developers a chance to meet face to face, to exchange experiences, to test drive new ideas and to discover the latest developments in their favorite programming language. The most prominent speakers in the Omnis world have agreed to share their knowledge, making EurOmnis a unique learning experience.
EurOmnis means small sessions that encourage more two-way communication, offering new ways for the attendees to really learn. Many people do not like to ask questions in a classroom environment but will feel comfortable in smaller groups. Some sessions will be repeated, so when you miss one, you can attend the same session later in the day or the week. Please read the Conference Format page for an explanation on how this format works and the testimonials page for an idea of what to expect.
The small session format can be seen as a kind of interactive learning, crucial for developing new technologies, giving participants that are in the process of acquiring knowledge means to exchange knowledge and to take advantage of each other's ideas and experiences.
Sessions at your knowledge level!
We plan sessions on different levels: for starting developers who will have need for the basics of Studio, for intermediate developers who want to improve their skills, and for long-time developers who would like to really go to the bone. No matter what level you're at, there will be sessions that suit your needs.
More than 300 hours of learning
EurOmnis is 4 fully packed days, 20 of the most prominent and knowledgeable speakers in the Omnis world, 85 sessions, around 60 different subjects, plus lectures, forums, and more than 300 hours of learning. Whatever you want to know regarding Omnis Studio, whether you're Newbie or Pro, if you do not find it at EurOmnis, it's not worth looking for!
Other information
EurOmnis 2013 will be held from October 20 till October 25 at Shendish Manor Hotel & Golf Cource, near Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom. Room rate, breakfasts, lunches, dinners and coffee breaks are included in your conference fee.
We have invited TigerLogic to be present at the conference to demonstrate their latest products and to answer all your questions. They are very enthusiastic and are lending great support.
Because of last year's success, EurOmnis will again have its own Support Booth. Götz Krija from TL Tech Support will be available during the course of the conference to answer all your support questions.
